Yes, of course, the tours we have proposed on our site are just an example, but we can organize any type of tour, both private and for an already consolidated group (friends or business), the rate may vary.
The Guide will always try to avoid getting to this situation but should it happen, we always have the possibility to call a support vehicle.
This should not be a problem for you, the Guide will adapt to your level and find the best solution to keep you entertained, without the tour being too tiring or dangerous.
Eventually, if you want to take a tour with a little altitude difference, but you are not very trained, we will invite you to use an E-bike.

Anyone who has the ability to move, because climbing is inherent in our motor skills. Children can start climbing as early as the age of 5, to take group lessons for children, we prefer to have at least 7-8 years, as they must already be independent.
In reality, climbing is first and foremost a technical gesture, strength and athletic preparation take over later. In climbing, the greatest physical effort is carried out by the legs, usually already stronger than the arms. Acquiring the right technique, the effort will be really minimal.
Of course, you can take part in weekly climbing meetings or the initiatives we organize dedicated to those who have already come with us sometimes or participated in climbing courses.

It means giving our organism time to settle at the altitude that gradually rises, the great job we will do every day will be just that, managing change to adapt to the quota
Of course, many of the people who came with us had climbed lower mountains or had not exceeded important quotas at all, what we will do is prepare ourselves with the right acclimatization

Before leaving for a trip of this type it is necessary to test one’s acclimatization capacity, for this we will make some exits before the trip that will allow us to know each other better and try the acclimatization path.
The most important thing before leaving is to walk and do aerobic activities (bike, Nordic walking). We will create a specific program of individual and group preparation, just to allow everyone to get prepared.

It can always happen that weather conditions require a change of plans and make travel more difficult. All our trips require a strong spirit of adaptability and adventure. We will try to transform even an apparently negative situation, into a positive experience, just change the point of view: we will make the sailors dispersed in the mists, we will be sailors like the Vikings did, we will surely live unforgettable experiences.
Yes, of course, the hot water is guaranteed, in limited quantity, but sufficient to be able to wash, but remember that we will be aboard a sailing ship, therefore a spirit of adaptation is necessary.

If we see that the climatic and snow conditions are really critical we evaluate together what to do; in general we have always found alternatives that are just as fun as river trekking, exploring lava caves with a Volcanological Guide, mountain bike or e-bike tours … Sicily is a small paradise for the outdoors and there definitely bored.
Etna is the most monitored and active volcano in Europe, for this reason particularly fascinating. It should not be defined as dangerous, but it must certainly be managed as such and above all it is necessary to know it well, for this you will be guided by expert professionals. It may happen that the program undergoes variations due to the weather or the activity of the volcano, but usually it is enough to move to another side to be able to do activities anyway. However, in the worst case scenario we always have alternative proposals.
Indicatively it is always possible to make trips from around 1000 – 1200 meters a day, but we evaluate it there, based on how the group moves and on the basis of snow and weather conditions.
We have several contacts, very nice and comfortable facilities, to quickly reach both sides. These are mostly B & Bs with single, double and triple rooms (a supplement is often required for a single room). Dinner is never included in the package, because every night we go to a different restaurant (already tested several times), to be able to taste different typical products of the rich Sicilian cuisine.
Etna allows you to make many trips, of various levels, in totally different conditions. A certain familiarity and safety on skis is recommended, especially downhill. Or if you are a group of at least 4-5 people at the same level, we provide you with a guide available only for you with a slight surcharge.
In ski mountaineering, you go up with seal skins and therefore you need to be able to sweat, breathe and protect yourself in layers. Winter trekking trousers or shell trousers, technical t-shirt and spare shirt are useful. For the high part a very technical sleeveless vest and a breathable fleece or sweater are very valid. Then unpadded windproof jacket. Light and heavy gloves, lighter band to climb and heavy cap to descend. Better still if you have the helmet and the mask.
Water at least ½ liter, some snacks for day trips and course experiences or evening trips While for longer trips we will give you specific information based on the type of excursion.
Don’t be in a hurry to buy the definitive material, there are numerous channels to find excellent equipment without spending an exaggeration
It is good to know how to ski easily on at least red runs, however you can always take part in off-piste days first, you can find them on the page freeride.
