BASIC LEVEL
It’s your first experience
The time has come to try! You’ve been skiing for years on the track and now you want something different and more exciting.
- Period: From November (snow permitting) to April
- Meeting point: Caprino Veronese Piazza della Vittoria or at the parking from the exit of the highway in Affi.
- Place of activity: Monte Baldo
- Meeting time: 08.00 am
- Activity duration: 4 hours
- Number of participants: 1-4 per guide
- Minimum age: 12 years old
- Price: € 95,00 per person
The fee includes:
Accompanied by Alpine Guide, rental for a shovel, ARTVA and probe for those without, accident insurance and recovery and rescue participantsNot included: Equipment: boots, skis, skins (Possible rental at a partner shop or at Xadventure if available).
What to bring:
• Ski mountaineering skis and boots with relative skins
• ARTVA (Research Equipment Overwhelmed in Avalanche), shovel and probe if in possession • Winter trekking or ski clothing • Water or rather hot tea • Something to eat (sandwich, chocolate, fruit, etc.) • Sun glasses • Sunscreen • Packed lunch with possibly hot drink or eat in a refuge whenever possible.
BEGINNER LEVEL
1st level ski touring course
Learn the technique, the strategies, the risk management and get passionate about the discipline practicing different trips every time in enchanted environments.
- Period: From November (snow permitting) to April
- Course duration: 7 meetings
Evening didactic meetings in the classroom: 2 Themes: materials, risk assessment, and management, guidance and rescue
Practical exits: 5 Full days (approx. 7.00 am – 5.00 pm)
- Meeting point: Caprino Veronese Piazza della Vittoria or at the parking from the exit of the highway in Affi.
Place of activity: Monte Baldo, Lagorai, Brennero, Sarentini, Maddalene
Meeting time: depending on the destination of the lesson
- Number of participants: 1-6 per guide
Minimum age: 12 years old

2nd level ski mountaineering course
Make the leap in quality, a bit of extra effort and specific techniques to reach routes where skiing is not enough but the mountaineering part must also be added.
- Period: from February to April
- Course duration: 6 days
Evening didactic meetings in the classroom: 2 Themes: materials, risk assessment, and management, guidance and rescue

Let’s go ski touring today in the places best suited to the abilities and in search of the most beautiful and safe snow. Day trips with car transfer not exceeding two hours.

Evening ski mountaineering
Baldo offers us the possibility of ski mountaineering 20 minutes from Caprino, in the evening after work. Climbing with your skies from the side of the lake with the sunset and skiing looking at the lights of the Brescia shore on snow that’s like pure magic.

Meeting time: 6.00 pm

Ski mountaineering tour
The skis got invented with the purpose to move in the mountains of the world, we will leave on one side, go down on the other, spend the night in a shelter and the next day we will make a new trip to discover new valleys and new slopes and finally on the second or third day we will return at the starting point. Routes dedicated to those who love adventure and want to prepare for the great classics of the Alps.

Activity place: The great mountain groups: Dolomites, Ortles Cevedale, Pale group of San Martino, Austrian Alps

- Activity duration: Usually 3 (we will define from time to time)

Haute Route Chamonix Zermat
The largest and most famous Haute Route of the Alps from Chamonix to Zermat through wonderful glaciers, glaciers, passes, endless valleys in the presence of the groups of the Bianco, del Rosa and at the end of the Matterhorn.
- Period: April – May
- Meeting point: Affi or Verona or directly at Chamonix

Meeting time: At 5.00 pm the day before starting or directly at Chamonix

Important information
What to bring: Ski boots and mountaineering skis with relative skins, ARTVA (Research Equipment Overwhelmed in Avalanche), shovel and probe if in possession, Ice ax, crampons, harness and rampant if necessary
The helmet is recommended
Winter trekking or ski clothing, sunglasses, sun lotion
Water or rather hot tea and something to eat (sandwich, chocolate, fruit, etc.)
Faq
The best way is to follow our Facebook page, you’ll find it at the bottom of the pages of our site, alternatively, you can send us a request to enter you in the Xadventure whatsapp group.
In ski mountaineering, you go up with seal skins and therefore you need to be able to sweat, breathe and protect yourself in layers. Winter trekking trousers or shell trousers, technical t-shirt and spare shirt are useful. For the high part a very technical sleeveless vest and a breathable fleece or sweater are very valid. Then unpadded windproof jacket. Light and heavy gloves, lighter band to climb and heavy cap to descend. Better still if you have the helmet and the mask.
Water at least ½ liter, some snacks for day trips and course experiences or evening trips While for longer trips we will give you specific information based on the type of excursion.
Don’t be in a hurry to buy the definitive material, there are numerous channels to find excellent equipment without spending an exaggeration
It is good to know how to ski easily on at least red runs, however you can always take part in off-piste days first, you can find them on the page freeride.
